Yes, you read that right. The boy bands are back in town, and the notorious studio responsible for the Sharknado movies the Asylum will be leading the charge. Click through to read more!
Rolling Stone has broken the story that Nick Carter, former member of the Backstreet Boys, has written a script for he and his bandmates that will also feature the members of *NSYNC.
What’s the movie about, you ask? Carter described it as a “zombie western futuristic horror movie.” From the past work of Asylum, we’re thinking there’s likely going to be at least a little bit of comedy thrown in there too, but guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Although the full bands have not been confirmed to appear in the movie yet, Carter was optimistic. As of now, he is committed to playing the lead supported by fellow Backstreet members Howie Dorough, A.J. McClean, plus *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone.
Who knows if we’ll see the full group come onboard to take project, but the genre bender could have some potential as a new cult favorite when it releases.
